I know I should know the answer to this, but it's late and can't get on dvc site. If I want to book in 2014, can I borrow 2016 points?

For a trip in 2014, it would not be possible to borrow from the 2016 use year. You can bank one use year forward or borrow one use year back.

Is the trip in 2014 or are you calling in 2014 for a trip that takes place in 2015?

Everything is dependent on the time you travel, so a trip that takes place in someones 2015 UY can use borrowed 2016 points, as well as banked 2014 points.

When you call to book that trip doesn't matter...just when you travel.

It all depends on your use year.

And when is your trip?

With a Feb UY, your new calendar is 2/1/XX to 1/31/XX.

So 2016 points are usually used for trips from 2/1/16 to 1/31/17. If you borrow them, the trip must be 2/1/15 through 1/31/16.

If your trip starts before 2/1/15, you could not borrow the 2016 points unless your trip ended after 2/1/15 and only for the days in Feb 2015.
