Using points for the Fort

We are thinking about exchanging points for campsite 12/11, Christmas time, DVC member guide states that Disney collection reservations can be made at 11 months out. Does anyone have experience doing this, I realize there is a 95$ fee. Just was not sure if you could truly do thus 11 months out. I keep thinking about calling MS, but also keep forgetting

if you know you're travel date, then give ms a call. we have exchanged using the Disney Collection before. My sister using the Fort before too. It's fairly simple, they ask for you to hold a brief moment to check availability and go over the exchange rules with you and then you complete the $95 transaction fee.

The $95 transaction fee is not charged for campsites with full hook-up at Disney's Ft. Wilderness Resort and Campground according to the 2010 vacation planner.

Awesome news, especially about the fee! One weeks worth of camping is around 900 at that time, so we would rather use points, especially if we can get in at 11 months
