Using Points for a Southwest Flight

DH and I have earned enough points to purchase our flight home using points.
When I tried to add EB it wouldn't let me. Is this not allowed when your using points. I have searched the site and I'm not seeing any info about this. Is there anything else I need to know that is different when using points? Thanks for the help.

I pulled up my points reservation for May and there's a button to add early bird. I clicked it and it took me all the way to entering a credit card. I stopped because I didn't want to add it. You have to pay for EBCI, you can't use points for it.

Thanks Debbie, I was using my CC. I'll try again and if there is a problem I guess I'll have to give them a call.
