Using package tickets at a later date

We have free dining booked for 4 nights over Labor Day weekend. We will fly in late on Friday and leave super early Tuesday. We had to buy the 4 day hoppers to qualify for the free dining package offer. Since we will only have 3 days in which to use the tickets and because it will be so hot that my family will likely rather be by the pool, I would like to hang onto those to use on another trip we will be taking over the winter. For the Labor day trip I would just purchase a one day ticket for one park and a one day ticket to a water park. Anyway, can I do this? We used to do this all the time, it used to be easy when they were paper tickets with no expiration but as times have changed not sure how to go about it now.

You can create a Ticket Saver/Fake Person Profile and move/Reassign the package tickets there when they become active on Check-in day. The tickets will be safe there until you need to Reassign them for a future trip.

You can book FPs for your one park day based on those package tickets. Link your one-day tickets to each person and when you do Reassign the package tickets, your FPs remain intact.

Look into getting a 1 day Park Hopper Plus instead. You'll get 2 water park visits and the park hopper and it's only a couple dollars more than a 1 day park and 1 day waterpark ticket.

1-day MK $119
1-day WP $ 65
Total ......$184
(NON-MK version $5 less)

1-day PH+ $199
includes 2 Water Park, etc. entries.
(Can be used on separate day(s) than theme park visits.)

(All prices, plus tax)

More than a couple dollars, but not bad for an extra day.

This sounds so complicated! Will I be able to do it for all 4 tickets?

This is a good idea, I might just go this way, thanks.
