Using out side florist instead of Disney??

I need help I havn't gotten my floral BEO yet and im pretty sure its gunna be high. So what im asking is Did you use outside florist? Who and how much? I'm really trying to cut cost and keep it under budget as much as I can. And I just know that would save me a bunch.

I used an outside florist (Flourish Productions in Winter Park) and while I had a very large floral budget I got A LOT more for what I paid. They also did a complete centerpiece mock up for me and met with me several times. I would contact them and see if they can give you a price quote. It might be cheaper and it might not. I think even if it is the same price you will probably get more flowers etc. for that price.

It was pricey, I spent about 10k in total but I had sooooo much stuff. My centerpieces were huge, all the bouquets, wish tree, custom made dance floor, covering the birds from hell, hand beaded table overlays and floor length satin linens, chargers, cocktail hour decor, custom aisle runner etc. so for what I got everything was a good price. My bouquet was about $300 and it was huge. I have seen people have centerpieces for the same cost as mine and they were not even half the size!

They never mentioned having a minimum order so it is definitely worth it in my opinion to get a quote.

Oh okay personally I thought it was more for your floral lol I loved it Im gunna have to call and find out and get a quote. Did you ask for the M on your bouquet?

I didn't ask for the M but he did mention that he was going to do it. The only thing I asked for where the crystal cuffs on the stems and I provided the crystals for my bouquet.

Oh okay cool I'll have to mention it to them that I want it I like the crystals it gives it that extra wow factor I asked for a 5 dozen bouquet so I know mine will be around $300 too so I wonder if ill still be able to do the keepsake I really wanna do it.

You'll be able to do a keepsake but they won't use nearly all of the bouquet. I don't even think they used 1/4 of my flowers which really had me mad since I paid so much and told them I wanted as many as possible.

Oh and I also spent another 3k using Disney floral for a few misc. things too, I just wanted to add that in budget wise. We had to use them for our dessert party.

Ya id pretty upset too if they did that because a huge bouquet isnt cheap either. Do you remember what size frame you have? Oh okay so you only used disney for your dessert party

My frame is 14x16. Even though I told them I wanted as many of my flowers in there as possible and that I didn't care about the cost, I still only got about 1/4. I can't say that it would look good with all those flowers in there though so I am just hoping they used their best judgement and that is all I can do since it's too late.

I used Disney for my dessert party and for the reception they provided Chivari chairs (that they didn't match the proper color cushion!) and the centerpiece for my childrens table. Flourish did everything else.
