using other resorts fitness room??

Has anyone ever stayed at AS or CBR or POR/FQ and went over to another resort to use their fitness facility??
I know there's a fee (that's not an issue) and we'll have a car. DH has to work out(jogging trails not good enough). stayed at Gf last yr but $$$ won't let us this yr. We're looking at 2 rooms at AS or 1 at POR. Was thinking WL or AKL(where there is fitness centers) but without codes a little too pricey and I want to book now what we can afford w/out codes and hope for some good codes for end of Aug.....any help or someone who did this would be great thanks

I know taht non-GF guests can pay per use at the Spa and fitness center there. Not so sure about the others, although I want to think the BW is limited to BW guests.

You might want to look into renting DVC points from someone for your stay. The kitchen facilities and free use of the excercise room might make up a large chucnk of the price difference.

Just checked and the YC/BC health club is limited to guests of those resorts only. (and BCV of course!)

my dh has always gone over to the contemporary once or twice during our trip. If he doesn't work out his back will go out. He has never had any trouble using their center. One time he got there late and they didn't even charge him. We are planning on going this year and taking turns while our DS uses the arcade.There is a fee and I think you can even get a length of stay pass.

i wondered this same question too on our recent trip to wdw. i stopped in at the beach club fitness facility when we arrived and was told it would be no problem at all to work out there for the length of my stay, even tho i was staying at as movies. i believe it was only $25 for the entire length of stay. i was surprised by the price......it was really quite reasonable for a ten day stay.
