I have multiple gift cards that I want to apply to paying for our dinner at Narcoosee's. Is this possible? They are not ALL Disney cards. I have 2-3 Disney gift cards and some regular Visa and AMEX gift cards as well. Will I be able to apply all to the dinner check?

Sure - they just process one at a time - so you should know how much $$'s you have on each card and check the receipt they give you.

It's nice to have another way to pay for a meal without the cash :goodvibes

I agree with you, I am excited looking forward to paying for the meal with the gift cards instead of cash! :woohoo:

Thank you for the answer! Very helpful!!

Ask first - some places we went to in WDW cannot process more than 3 tender types (or swipes) per transaction. We encountered this at Guest Relations at MK & at The Emporium in MK.

I have found that many times the Visa and AMEX cards do not work on property for paying for items and meals. I had planned on using these at times for things. What I found I could do was to go to a guest services location and use all the nonDisney cards to add onto a Disney gift card and then it could be used around property. I also learned that if I did use a giftcard of another type once and not everything was gone it was impossible for any of the machines I tried on property to process it to pay for anything but a Disney giftcard.

This is GREAT information, so I should go to guest services (need to stop there anyway) and ask to use the VISA/AMEX cards to "load more" onto one of my disney gift cards?

We've had trouble with this too. If you want to do this before you leave you can combine the cards at a Disney Store too. Although they're getting harder to find.

The problem with the VISA/AMEX cards is that it will decline the charge if it is above what is on the card (like a credit card), so you have to state how much to charge the VISA/AMEX card so the decline won't happen.

We have tons of Disney Gift Cards, we put all of our charges on our room key and then go to guest services at the hotel and use the gift cards to pay off our charges on the room. Works well for us.
