my dh and I are planning on 2 adult only nights out during our stay, and the kids will be at the kids club at the resort-

can we use their TS credits to go to a 2 TS credit meal without them- or are those TS credits marked as "child" and need to be used on a kids' meal?

No,you can't use them the children's TS are marked as such and they do not carry the same value as the adult TS crdits.

Credits are most definately seperated for adult and children at TS restaurants. They didn't use to be, but have been for about a year. There are some on this board that think Disney was originally okay with what you had planned (kids club/using kids credits). However, Disney was not okay with the huge number of people that treated grandparents, friends, etc with their children's credit and just paid cash for their kids meals. Of course, that's just a theory. :goodvibes

another poster recently asked this same question, and my suggestion re: use of kids' credits would be, if your resort offers it, to order kids' room service one morning as a treat for the kids as each room service meal "costs" two credits!
it's a great fun, practical, use of extra kids' credits :)
