Using Gift Cards to Pay for DxDDP?

Another thread got me thinking of a more cost-saving way to pay for my DxDP. It would involve the use of several $100 Disney gift cards. I know we now have to pay for the DDP when we add it to our reservation, so obviously it has to be paid for over the phone. So, is there a limit on the number of gift cards that can be used to purchase the DxDP?

From the posts I've seen here, there is no limit to the number of gifts cards that can be used to pay for the dining plan.
