Using GAD and MYW tix towards AP?

If I purchase a MYW ticket from Undercover Tourist, can I still use a GAD voucher towards upgrading that ticket to an AP once we get to WDW next month?

No.

Only one theme park ticket card can evolve into one Annual Pass ticket card.

The suggestion is to redeem your Give-A-Day voucher for a ticket, enter the park, and go to Guest Relations inside to upgrade just that ticket into an AP (or MYW ticket with more days if desired). If you already bought another ticket, keep that unused until next vacation.

Two family members, one with an ordinary MYW ticket and the other with a GAD voucher, can upgrade nearly at the same time, each ending up with an AP.

Occasionally a GAD upgrade all the way to AP (or premium AP) will be done right away without your having to wait at Guest Relations inside the park.

Provided the ticket you already possess has/had more than one day and is usable on GAD redemption day, you can redeem your GAD voucher for extra fastpasses instead. Up to five other family members will also get the fastpass card which can be used approximately six times with some limitations on which combination of rides you choose. If the family members have more than one GAD voucher, they can redeem the vouchers for fastpasses on different days.

By definition a ticket upgrade is taking one ticket and adding cash (or credit card charge or similar) to the one ticket and ending up with one ticket which has more days and/or options. Two or more tickets cannot be combined.

The only exception to this is at the water parks or DQ, where you can take a water park (or DQ) one day ticket, take any MYW ticket which is upgradable, add the difference between the value of the one day water park (or DQ) ticket and the cost of the WPF&M option, and add WPF&M to the MYW ticket.

That's pretty much what I figured, but I thought I'd ask! Thanks for the info.

Because we will be there the week just prior to Christmas, my DD suggested it might be better to use the GAD for Fastpasses at MK anyway.

I was just thinking the same thing. OP, from your ticker, it looks like you don't arrive until after 12/15. But you did say next month in your post, so I'm hoping you are going to be there in time to use the GAD voucher (maybe you are going twice?).

Well son of a gun! I didn't realize it had to be used by the 15th. This is a left-over voucher from our April trip, so I just tucked it away "just in case" we went again before the end of the year. This December trip was a last-minute idea, so I didn't even take the voucher out to look at it yet.

So we don't all have to turn in our vouchers on the same day to get the GAD Fast Pass?
If I turn mine in on Day 1, then DH, DD, and DS also get the FP for that day?
THen on Day 2 we turn in DH's, on Day 3DS's, etc?
