Using extra kids table service credits

I don't think I've seen this asked before. Sorry if I'm wrong about that!

I have read that it is possible to exchange a counter service credit for two snack items and a beverage. Is it possible to use children's table service credits in a similar manner?

We will be having one night where the adults go to LeCellier while the kids are at the Neverland Club. This will leave us with two unused children's table service credits. I'm just trying to find a good way to use them.

If not, I may have my DH take them to a character meal and pay out of pocket for himself the night my friend and I go to Universal's Halloween event.

We found that most places will not use credits for anything other than what they're for. They've tightened all the loop holes and we were told that it won't ring up correctly, so I'm sorry to say that I don't think you'll be able to do what you want.

How old are the kids? Are either/both of them "Disney Adults"? If they are 10 or over, they will have adult credits that you can use. If not, then I think you have a good idea of them going for a character meal while you're off with your friend.

No, there just little ones, ages 4 and 7. My DH isn't the kind of Daddy that likes to have to do things with the kids alone "babysitting":rotfl: but I think I could convince him to take them to Chef Mickey's.

I don't believe they are going to care who eats the meal once it's ordered. However, the children's credits can be used only to order off the children's menu. If something on the children's menu interests you, go for it.

Two good places to consider:

Beaches & Cream at the Beach Club has good children's choices and inexpensive adult items, so it won't "cost" hubby too much to do this. They'll also be near the Fantasiz min golf course, so maybe they can make and evening of it: ice cream and mini golf...B&C does not take ADRs so they'll just need to show up and wait their turn.

The Plaza in MK is similar with lower priced items for Dad to enjoy. They should have a reservation for that meal. Plenty of pre or post meal fun in the Magic Kingdom.

Great idea! I hadn't thought about the Plaza Inn. That is perfect. Thanks:goodvibes .

Another thought is to combine the two children's credits and get in-room dining (provided you are staying at a resort with this option). I know it ends up equaling only one meal, but you never know when that one kid's meal might come in handy! Plus, the DDP brochure states that gratuity is included in in-room dining, so no OOP there. :thumbsup2

We're on the DxDDP in September and will have plenty of credits - potentially some to spare - so it's nice to know this option exists. :goodvibes
