I can't seem to find the answer - if we book a DCL cruise in January on points that are expiring in Feb (can't be banked), what happens to those points if the cruise is cancelled? Will be be able to book a future cruise, or are they then refunded and expired.

Thanks!

Once you book a non-DVC stay your points are converted to "reservation points" (or some similar term) and are no longer usable for DVC stays.

Thanks! And if they were now non-DVC when would they have to be used by? The usual dcl policy for cancelled cruises?

I don’t know anything about this but some people have been talking about putting the points into rci than the points will be extended. I wouldn’t do what you are talking about way way way way too risky. Probably a good chance dcl will not be sailing in January.
