Using DVA "in person"?

We were going to use the $ in our DVA account to renew our APs, which we can't do until Dec. 31. We want to take advantage of the 13-month AP offer, but we'll be in Orlando starting Dec. 31 & beyond Jan. 3 when the offer ends. Can we use our DVA to pay for the renewal in person at a ticket booth or GR? Or do we have to do it over the phone?

I believe the 13 month offer has been extended to October 2017.

I hope so! In another thread I posted that when we upgraded from Gold to Platinum a couple of days ago we got the extra 30 days added on to our current APs. That's wonderful for our present needs - our current APs will still be active for our last scheduled trip in March - but had us contemplating whether to renew or not, since our new 60-day window won't open until after Jan. 3. So we're waiting for confirmation that they have extended the offer - if we can get an additional 30 days on the renewal then we'll go for it! (And start planning the trips to use them! )

Everything I have seen is that the 13 month AP has to be purchased by 1/3/17. I am upgrading at the end on January and I have not seen anything about the 13 month being extended.

Unfortunately the extension is just a rumor so far as I know. I haven't seen any confirmation yet, so it's still just a hope for us!
