Has anyone used their Disney Visa Rewards dollar points card to pay for their Table Service and Counter Service meals ?

How were you able to check how many Disney Visa Rewards dollar points were left on the card ?

Were the Disney Visa Rewards dollar points card able to be used at Counter Service ?

2 years ago, we used our Disney Visa Rewards dollar points to pay for 1/2 our WL stay. But if we stay ta the Dolphin again, we can not use the Disney Visa Rewards dollar points for our Dolphin resort costs.

We have enough $$'s to pay for at least 7 days of food (most WDW lunches and dinners). How do we do it ?

We have done it 2x now. We just hand our rewards card to our waiter/waitress at TS restaurants and they deduct the bill and give us a receipt which has our updated balance. CS works the same way.....we gave our rewards card to the cashier and they scanned the card and our total bill was deducted and our new balance shown on the receipt.

As a side note, we do keep our receipts so that we can make sure an error wasn't made.

When we went in Oct we used the rewards just like your KTTW card. We were on the DDP but used the rewards for tips and extras like alcohol. I even used it at the F&W kiosks.

You must have alot of dollars accumulated. I keep telling my DH - use the Disney Visa we need the points!! :rotfl:

We are also staying at the Swolphin so we won't be using it to pay in full 45 days prior to the trip - that really added some money. Oh well.

Thank you - yes we have some nice amount of $$'s saved. Did our down payments on our cars on it. A year ago there was a nice perk for 3 months - $5 for every $100 on food bills - we racked up a bit that way.
The only perk this past year was gas purchases get better rewards - but DH does to swipe his Visa card at gas stations.

We rack up about $20 a month right now in rewards - without any big purchases.

We have saved $1000 in disney visa dollar points.
I figure with one TS and one CS per day for our family of 4 adults (kids ages 18 & 15) -would be about $150 per day. So for $1000 @ $150 per day for food = 6.6 days

Good to know. I was wondering the same thing. We just cashed out our rewards for this trip. I wish we had as many as you though!

Your receipt will show your current balance. We only encounted one place that wouldn't take the Disney VISA Rewards card, and that was the funnel cake stand outside of American Pavilion in Epcot World Showcase. Otherwise, swipe away!

Thanks again to all and good luck to all on accumulating Visa Disney dollar points :thumbsup2
