Using Disney Visa perks

I'm planning to book a Disney vacation for my family and I to split (7 adults 2 kids). My question is, if I pay for my portion with my Disney Visa will we be eligible for the early free dining discount (since the Disney visa is paying for a portion)? Or would I have to pay for the whole trip with the Disney Visa to qualify?

Also, randomly while I'm asking questions... does the dining plan have a max amount of people in one party it'll cover? Will our 7 adults and 2 kids be covered?
