Using Disney transportation from the airport - logistics

I have my 4th Disney cruise coming up soon but in the past, I've always used private transportation. For a variety of reasons it makes sense to take the Disney bus this trip. Assume the night before we are staying at the Airport Marriott. (Nearby but offsite), then we take the marriott's shuttle to the airport to hop on Disney's bus. What is the process with our luggage? I take it back to the airport obviously- but is there somewhere to 'check it' with them or am I traveling with it on the bus and I need to wait once we unload at the cruise terminal to retrieve my luggage from under the bus and I give it to a porter. Also is there room in the bus at your seat for a small roller bag, that is not a backpack but not a full sized carry on? It will have my moms medical equipment (Cpap machine.) I'm trying to figure out the process. Thanks!

You will have to return to the airport with your luggage and go to Disney check in. Once checked in they will take your luggage and put it on the bus for you. You must have your luggage tags on it. You will not see it again, until it arrives at your room on the ship. Also, you can take a carry on on the buss. If they don't have room they will put it below but when you get off the bus you can grab it. So, to make sure you I was clear once you check in at the Disney airport terminal you luggage will be checked all the way through to your boat room. I love Disney bus. It is very easy. If you stay at the airport Hyatt in the airport they will even check and take your luggage from your room. Hope this helps.

If it's a roller bag you're going to have to make sure they know it is medical equipment to take it onto the bus. There's really no room for much but tote bags on the bus.
