Using Disney Gift Cards and F&W booths?

I saw that there are special mini gift cards to purchase at the festival that will work at the booths. I was wondering if i can use a regular Disney gift card at the food and wine booths, like the ones from Disney.com?? Thanks!

Yes you can use any Disney gift card. They just sell the special ones for the convenience of the wrist strap and it could be saved as a souvenier.
