Using Disney GC at disneyland carts?

Hi, I was just wondering if you were able to use a disney gc to buy churros and corndogs, and stuff at the carts, or does it have to be at a restaurant.

Often the roving carts (some ice cream carts, some prepackaged popcorn, light up thingys) can't accept cards but the stationary carts that stay in the same spots (usually churros, popcorn, pretzels, chimis, corn, turkey legs etc) you can use them.

We have used our Disney GC at booths before. Any place they accept a credit card they will take the GC.

Pretty much all the carts now take credit cards...which if so they can also take resort room charges and gift cards.

As mentioned, just the roaming vendors are cash only.

You can probably only use a Disney gift card at a Disney-run store. For example, I know from personal experience that Disney gift cards cannot be used at the Build A Bear store in DTD.

Thanks for the info. Cash it is! I prefer for my DD14 not carry around cash when she and my nephew go off on their own for shopping but if they are only good at the Disney store then that won't work.

Might I suggest a reloadable visa? Then you still don't have them carrying cash but it's not limited

We have GC's for every trip and all the carts that we ever use have taken them.

Yeah, Disney gift cards and room charges are only accepted at Disney owned and operated locations in DTD like World of Disney.

Most of the DTD businesses do however offer AP discounts if you have oneZ
