We were thinking of using the dining plan for the candlelight processional. Question is, since they offer 3 tiers of dining for the package, which one does the dining plan get us? Do we get to choose? and I think I read we only get the option for the 5pm showing, which means we actually would be eating off the lunch menu since we eat before the processional? That's fine, but I was just curious if we can choose a tier 3 restaurant or not using hte dining plan for it? thanks!

I believe you pay according to the restaurant - aren't they all 1 dining plan credit?

But if you're on the basic...not sure you'd be able to get an appetizer. They do permit that with the Fantasmic package.

Last year we ate at Le Cellier on the dining plan for the Candlelight Processional but the latest ressie we could get was 5;15 and that was for the 8;15 show. If you want to go to the earlier CP shows you will be dining in the afternoon.

All of the TS restaurants in Epcot on the DDP are 1 credit, so you will be able to choose from any of the tiers. Last year they required that you eat before seeing the show (I think people may have been skipping their dinner :rolleyes1 ) we were able to choose whichever show we wanted if there was availability still and then we chose the dinner time available for that showing.

This may be a silly question but I've been to WDW a bunch but I've never heard of the Candlelight Pro...what is it?? :confused3

From the Dis:
Held every year at Epcot, the Candlelight Processional is not to be missed. A mass choir, joined by a 50-piece live orchestra and a celebrity narrator, tell the story of Christmas in words and music, in a very moving performance. Performances are held at the America Gardens Theatre.

Thanks everyone- now to decide where to eat (barring we can even get in where we want! lol)

btw- the Candlelight Processional has become so popular in recent years that they now offer a dining package- you pay a set fee based on which Epcot restaurant you choose and then you get dinner and a guaranteed seat for the show. It seems the show fills up and it is difficult to get a seat, so this package reserves a seat for you without waiting in line for ages too.
