Using Community Leaders as Third Parties in Trades

Hi!
I've mentioned before how I feel about this, but obviously there are still some people who think this is part of what a CL does. Not true!
I'm bringing the subject up again because there is a post on the trades board telling a trader to use a CL as a go-between. I just want to set things straight.
Yes, you can ask us to help in a trade, but please don't tell us it's our duty to help with trades. Personally, if I don't know you well, I will NOT help you with a trade. CL's can be scammed just as easily as anyone else. It has happened before. Just because you may have met a CL once or twice on vmk or read some of their posts on the Dis, does not mean they are obligated to be a third party in your trades. If anything went wrong with the trade, who do you think will get all the blame?
So, if you know me, feel free to ask me. If you don't know me well, please refrain from asking.

A friend of mine who often turns to CLs for tranfering usually pays the CL for their time and efforts, mainly because it's usually an inferno transfer that can take hours sometimes. She made the last CL a bat magic pin richer for her time and patience.
