Using Budget Car Hire from Sanford

Hi,

I've been speaking to usrentacar.co.uk and they tell me that you can pick up the Budget vehicles using the Avis desk as Budget are owned by them. The main Budget desk is off-site.

Has anyone done this before? Why are Budget £50 or so cheaper than Dollar?

When I have looked at car hire in the past there has often been differences in price between (for example) Dollar, Alamo etc. I have always assumed it's just the luck of the draw?

Anyone used Budget? It's a well know national chain isn't it?
