Having had the misfortune of being stuck in a rainstorm and having to wait almost an hour for my battery to dry and the ECV to work.. I bought a
Nomiou Mobility Scooter Rain Cover Waterproof Material Protect You and Your Scooter from Rain Snow Sleet and Sun on amazon for $22. There's many different ones available - I liked this because of the see thru plastic when I'm using a rental scooter as opposed to mine . I also purchase disposable ponchos by the dozen in case and then I can put one on the seat as well as the one covering the scooter. HOWEVER - this is not a solution for standing water or driving thru water!
