I was looking on Amtrak's Website earlier today, and could not believe how fairly cheap it is to get from Downtown LA to Anaheim via the Train.

$40 total RoundTrip.

For those of you that have possibly taken the Amtrak service how far is there Anaheim Station from DisneyLand? And Do they have a bus or anything that takes you to and from DisneyLand back to the Train Station?

I also saw that if you buy your Passes for DL and Amtrak tickets, you save an additional 25% off your train tickets.

Good Deal Huh?

Thanks for all your suggestions or previous posts, and thanks in advance to this post.

These will help in making my VERY short time in Disneyland a Magical one.

Happy 4th to you all!

The Anaheim train station is at Angel Stadium. I'm not sure what kind of public transportaion is there. I would suggest a taxi. You can probably arrange to have a taxi waiting for you at a certain time to take you back to the station, though I'm not sure how late the trains run.

It's VERY close to Disneyland. It's about a two minute drive away.

CORRECTION: It's a 5 min. drive and 2 MILES away. Sorry about that.

There are 2 relavtively close stations. The first one the train will stop at is Fullerton. It's right by the Fullerton bus depot. and off of Harbor Blvd. I'm know you'll be able to catch a bus that will take you down harbor to the bus stop at Disneyland no problem. This station is a bit further than the anaheim one. They also have a Spaghetti Factory next to the train station.

The anaheim station is at the Stadium. I'm not sure about transportation, but I'm pretty sure they do have some sort of transportation to Disneyland.

Fullerton is about 7 miles away, Anaheim about 4 miles

Also is this by Amtrak or Metrolink. Metrolink runs between LA and Fullerton (I assume Anaheim als) and it may be cheaper.

Check octa.net for info on metrolink and the busses

If you get off amtrak at union station, and take the red line - it takes you out to hollywood/highland (and also to universal city/studios). Go to www.mta.net and look at the maps!

did I mention that I can't really read maps? I am a menace I know. Good thing I live in a small town.

I'll have my husband look it over though, thanks!

Metrolink will be cheaper but it only runs commuter hours Monday - Friday.
