Using American Express

I see that Continental airlines offers a pre-pay American Express card and was thinking this would be better than signing and carring around American Express travelers checks. However some places dont accept American Express.

Has anyone ever used their American Express card at Disney?

Yes, used mine in December to pay for meals in the parks (counter service as well as sit-down). We didn't stay onsite, but I assume they would have to accept them at the resorts as well, if they take AmEx in the parks.

I use mine at disney fofr almost everything....

We put down our Amex for incidentals during our stay and any charge to our room went on it. Gotta love the membership rewards we earned!

We've always used our Am Ex. It used to be really nice when American Express was the "official card" for Disney. You used to get some extra perks and pretty good package deals too. That is the only package that I came out ahead with Disney. I love Am Ex.
