Does anyone know if when you use the AAA tickets with the parking pass if DL asks for a AAA ID when using the tickets? I ask becasue I have a different auto club, but my mom has AAA here in AZ. Could we have her buy the tickets for us with her AAA membership, and my wife and I use the tickets? Or, will DL ask for AAA ID when we get to the parks? Any help would be appreciated.

We have AAA and buy out tickets from them, and we have never been asked to show ID cards or anything.

hmmmm. I was thinking? For DL I pay cash to AAA and get real tickets[you straight the gates! no problem!] I have not had to use the Disney Parking,
1. because I stayed at a Harbor Hotel
a. they have their own parking
b. then I walk to the DL Entrance.

WDW AAA you get a voucher which you have to exchanged for the real deal and you do need to show your AAA card.

To aviod problems why not get 1 person AAA.

We have used AAA tickets for years and never had to show our AAA card. Even when we upgraded them to APs this summer we didn't show our card, just our driver's license.

But we used them to get free parking and to enter the parks numerous times and never showed AAA card.

I agree with the other posters who said you won't need a AAA card when using the tix and parking at DLR. I've bought passes for friends on my AAA account and they had no problems.

Have fun!

I get real tickets from my AAA office and have never had to turn in a voucher.

Yup, we got real tix as well and never had to show our AAA card at DL. So you should be fine.

I too have purchased a ticket from my local AAA office. It includes parking. The ticket is a regular ticket, you just give it to one of the CM's at the turnstile admission gate. No need to show AAA card. In order to purchase tickets from AAA, one needs to be a road side member, and show your card at the time of purchase.

What about when, you park in a Disney Parking lot??????

No, you will not need to ever show ID. AAA does not restrict 'who' uses the tickets (like the Southern Cal discounts tickets do) just who can actually purchase them. There is nothing that says you must be a AAA to USE the tickets. We asked last year before we were members when my mom bought them for us. They said no i.d. is ever required and people buy them for gifts all the time.

You will have absolutely no problems.

Exactly, again one does not need to be a member of AAA to use the tickets, only to purchase them. No need to show AAA membership card for use of parking either, just show your ticket.

Thank you all so much for your replies. Sounds like we will have no problems at all. Good!

OT..but how do you do this? I haven't seen anything on the AAA site that mentions Disney tickets. Do you have to go to an office or can they be mailed to you? How much are they?

I haven't bought tickets from them this year because we have APs now. But I just walked into our local AAA office and bought them. The back of the tickets say free parking at Mickey and Friends. You do need to buy 3 day parkhoppers to get the parking though. You can call and ask them about it. I don't know if it is just Calif. AAA that do this or all, or what. The price is the same as you would pay for the going rate.
