Using a WDW Ap

I have a WDW Annual pass. I know that it will not give me park admission at DL, but I'm curious when I visit DL if I will be able to use it for any discounts or to even buy any "exclusive ap merchandise" like the popcorn buckets I so badly need! : ) Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, no. You have to have a valid Disneyland or DLR/WDW premier AP. At Disneyland they scan the barcode on the AP to confirm that it’s valid for all AP discounts and AP only merchandise.

All discounts/eligibility checks involve them scanning the pass, I know some places at WDW just look at it and will accept even Disneyland's pass. Even if you want to buy passholder exclusive merchandise like pins, the pass gets scanned at Disneyland.
