what do you do for the rest of your meals for the day? Do you pay oop?
We usually eat breakfast in our room, use cs for lunch and ts for dinner. This trip we have 3 character breakfasts. Just wondering what everyone else does is this situation. tia

If you made your breakfast ressie a bit later in the morning (more like brunch) then I would use my CS credit for dinner. If you have early ressies, then you can either split your CS credits between lunch and dinner or snack for lunch and CS for dinner...lots of ways to do it.

We have 9am adrs for breakfast. I'm not understanding spilting cs credits between lunch and dinner. Does that mean sharing?

If you are over on your TS meals I find paying OOP for Breakfast is one of the better deals in general.

With a 9am breakfast, chances are you won't want lunch...just eat an early dinner using a CS.

When on vacation, my family never does 3 meals a day...its simply too much food for the heat and activity. Eating breakfast at 9-10 and then either a mid-afternoon snack/late dinner or early dinner/late snack has always been more than enough for us.

I guess the buffet should hold dh and I over. We would just need an afternoon snack. Our children( 3 & 6) are not big eaters and very picky too . They probably won't eat much at breakfast and will be hungry again. Can we spilt a cs credit for them for lunch?

Thanks

Can we spilt a cs credit for them for lunch?

Thanks

If they're not big eaters you should have no problem splitting a cs meal. Last trip my kids were 18mos, 3 and 5. We usually bought 2 meals for them and still had plenty left over. Towards the ebnd of the trip we started buying one meal and getting another one if they were still hungry.

We use a CS credit for supper. We every trip so far for example have booked CM for brunch (11:00am), then after we are full until about 7:00pm and then we eat at a CS. If my kids get hungry during the day I'll use a snack credit for a ice cream bar or popcorn. Usually though I bring granola bars or fruit snacks with me and they munch on them instead. They like keeping the snack credits for WDW candy at the end of the day when we explore the shops.:rotfl2:

We don't do breakfast character meals which is OK with my DH because he is not a morining person. This trip I'm taking my DD to CRT for breakfast but I'll pay OP for that one. We follow the breakfast in the room, CS for lunch and TS for dinner plan.

We always pay OOP for all breakfasts. I don't think TS breakfast is a good value for the TS credit.

I just depends. :confused3 There are days I'll use two TS credits in one day (breakfast and dinner) and CS for lunch. Then there are days when I pay OOP for a food court breakfast, use a TS credit for lunch and CS credit for dinner.

When we go this August, I'll be using the dining plan, gift certificates and paying OOP to cover our meals.

I know using a TS credit for breakfast may not be the best value, but I refuse to drive myself crazy planning when to use the plan and when to pay OOP.

In order to save CS credits we often split big CS meals like half rotiserie chickens at Cosmic Rays and Tusker Hour or the Ribs at Cosmic Rays or Flame Tree. We've also been known to order a double cheeseburger and pay 79 cents OOP for an extra bun. Some thinks its tacky, but the DDP has so much food , we would normally never eat so much!

You just reminded me I have a $50 gift card plus all my disney reward points that I think I can use towards dining. I can use that plus spilt cs meals and perhaps pay oop for the cheaper meals. Thanks everyone. :)
