Using a sitter in the parks

Has anyone ever heard of a sitting service that would take a kid to the parks? A guy I know is asking as his wife can no longer go on the trip and he has a conference to attend so his 9 year old son wouldnt be able to get in any park time. I myself couldnt fathom wanting or trusting someon to do that, but I told him I would ask.

I know Kids Nite Out will take kids to the park but you have to pay for their ticket. I used them two weeks ago to keep the kids in my room and absolutely loved them. Check them out, their website is kidsniteout dot com.
