Using a gift card on disneystore.com...

So, I *think* I just used a Disney gift card @ disneystore.com as I entered it in and it showed first under the payment section (the GC does not cover the total order), but it didn't show up as being subtracted off in the total section of the "Review your order" page. Is this normal? I guess I'm used to it being subtracted off at other sites after I enter in the gift card. Not the end of the world if it didn't work, but I was just wondering as I've never done this before.

Yes, it's normal. I've done this many times and the balance of the gift card never appears to be deducted from the total cost, but my credit card statements have always shown only the remaining amount not covered by the gift card is charged to the credit card. As long as you know you have money on the gift card and that's selected as the primary method of payment with the credit card as backup, it should all add up.
