I am renting an ECV for my trip next week but also bringing my folding cane. I have a really bad right knee and have always used the cane in my right hand. But I thought I read on here I should us ethe cane on the left. I can not find the post so if someone could help me...please and thanks

You should always use the cane on the side of the good leg.

When moving the bad leg forward you should also move the cane forward as you can safely balance on the good leg unsupported.

When you move the good leg forward, you will be splitting the balance between both the bad leg and the cane, which will give you needed stability.
