Using 2 tents on a Full Hook-up Site?

I'm trying to research if a Full Hook-Up site will work for 2 large tents?? We have camped as a big group with several sites every year in the 2000 loop for the last 5 years. This year, I can't find ANY availability in the whole month (November) that we usually go. A friend was able to secure full hook-up sites though. Do you think this would work for us? In the pictures and videos of the full hook-up loops, it seems that the tent pad is much smaller than on the tent sites. Also, it looks like they haven't been upgraded to the sand yet (soooo much better than the dusty pebbles!)

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

The 2000 loop has the biggest tent pads in the Fort. I think 2100 (which was a cabin loop for years but recently converted back to a Full loop) appears to have smaller tent pads than what's offered in 1600-1900. I think two tents won't be a problem but getting them on the tent pad probably would be. One tent might have to go off-pad and then the issue is enough space avoiding trees, bushes, etc. Or on the pavement if that's an option for you. Full sites are advertised as one camper/rv (on the pavement) and one tent (on the gravel pad). As long as you know that it doesn't pretend to offer room for two tents (and there are a few sites in 1500 that would not fit two normal size tents on a pad).

My advice is you can do it and it can work with advance communication on your reservation about the size and number of tents. And avoid sites in 2100 which, as I said, tend to be smaller (check YT videos).

I thought all the sites were converted to the gray gravel and away from the old coquina fill on the tent pads but I could be wrong.

PS - last thing I will add is to try to check in early on your arrival day and if you see an empty site that looks like it would work for you, call the front desk and ask for it. They can swap out the site they gave you with the site you want (if it hasn't been communicated to an early online check-in guest). Arriving early in the day gives you more choices to look at before everyone else checks in to claim them.

We just left and saw an number of full hook up sites with 2 or more tents on the site.

Yes! Full hook up sites have the most space. This is our full hook up site and you can't see the Ram truck and Subaru in the driveway.

Thank you! Crossing my fingers we can make it work. I don't want to be the bearer of bad news if we can't get sites this year!

I have never had this much trouble finding availability and every weekend I look at doesn't even have 1 site available much less 10!
