USF 1 Day Touring Advice

I would appreciate any suggestions for making the most of our one day visit to Universal Studios Florida on 8/11 with a 12 year old. Which attractions should not be missed, and which rides should be skipped? What wait times can we expect when using Universal Express passes during our visit? Thanks.

If you're going to the Studios, I would suggest getting there early and start with Shrek 4-D and the Rockit first thing. Then make a circle around the park and do what you'd like. Make sure you don't miss the Horror Make Up Show...it's a riot!

Using the Express Pass will help cut times down drastically! Early in the day, you may be able to walk "right to" the boarding areas. Of course, not all rides allow you to use the EP, so usually we do those first, hoping to avoid the inevitable long lines later.

BTW, my 13 y/o son really enjoys the Simpsons ride!

since the op is only doing the studios side, he might not find crowds in the park before noon.

so many will be at ioa for potter and then stick around to the afternoon to do other things in the ioa park.


op, few of the rides at the studios open at 10:00.
check the park guide map when you get to the gate.

if you like coasters, do RRR right away!
