user cp: "not subscribed to any forums"

Sorry if this is a stupid question...I'm NOT much of a techie!


What does it mean in the user cp when it says "you are not subscribed to any forums"? I've got posts currently on the boards...what's the difference?

Subscribing to a forum will place a "Forum Box" on your "User Control Panel" page. This makes it a little easier to keep track of your favorite Forums.

To subscribe to say the Community Board, first go to the C.B., then click on the link that says "subscribe to forum".

The next time you go to your User cp, you'll have an easy link back to your "subscribed forums".

I think I made it sound WAY more complicated than it really is! Give it a try and see what you think.
