When I booked my room at the Yacht Club for February, I used the Disney Visa discount, and added a 4 day park hopper and turned it into a package - for some odd reason, I was not able to select a 5 day ticket with park hopper - you could get a regular 5 day pass, but the hopper option was greyed out. I just booked it with a 4 day park hopper and figured I'd call later. So, I called last night and the CM told me that with the Disney Visa offer, the rule was
"when you upgrade to a room and ticket package that includes a minimum 5-day theme park tickets with the Park Hopper Option or Park Hopper Plus Option, you get one more day added to the ticket day, FREE.* - I just verified this on Disney's website.
So, basically i'd have to buy a 6 day park hopper - it's just not making sense to me. Why can't I buy a 5 day park hopper and get the 6th day free? even thought we're only there 5 days - it is what it is. If I buy a 6 day park hopper, aren't I getting a 7th day free? Why am I paying for a 6 day park hopper when I only really want 5? the 6th free day would be a waste, but again, we're only staying 5 nights.
Does this make sense to anybody else?
