Hi, May I ask how you got such an incredible rate? I plugged my dates (close to yours) into Nationals website and I come up with $1,800 for midsize SUV , and around $2,500 for minivan. Circumstances are a bit different, as we need to pick up near the Port of Miami (post cruise) around 9am on 8/25, and then return to the Orlando Airport MCO on 9/2 at around 6:30pm. We have never rented a car before and I must be doing something very wrong, lol! I would appreciate any help you can give.

I am new to renting from National, so I'm honestly not sure. I, too, have signed up to be an Emerald Member and am of the understanding that yes, you can go right to the garage ,

Will we be able to pick from any midsized SUV in the aisle, then? Is that how it works? After a dreadful experience with Budget at Christmas, that would make me super happy!

Thank you soooo much for looking that up for me! Did you search on the regular National search page? At least the rate you saw was 1/2 of the one I saw, lol. What am I doing wrong? I didn't see a place for codes to be entered. Thanks again-you are so kind!

Don't forget the coupon too. National has a new one available until June 2013 now. (It's actually an old number, just the dates are exteneded now). It's an e-coupon. ND9334SND ($30) no paper coupon needed. It was in an email that National sent me last week.

You will not go to the aisle, you will go to the minivan section. The Aisle is for folks who opt for a midsize car. You have what the call an Emerald Reserve reservation. It is all explained on the Emerald Club pages. I assume you made the reservation via the EC log in. Your reservation will tell you what you need to do. It should be on the left hand side of the reservation telling you the level of service.

Yes, Gina, you can go right to the garage, you will be able to select any midsize suv from the SUV area, not the aisle.. You have an Emerald Reserve reservation.
Just check the level of service that should appear on the left hand side of your reservation.
