USE YEAR Question

I just recently brought at AKV. I was given an October UY. Does that mean that they are almost sold out? How do you know if they are officially sold out?

I wouldn't make that connection about an October UY. Since the Kidani House hasn't opened yet, none of those points have been sold. Therefore AKV is not close to being sold out yet. All they are currently selling are the points for Jambo House.

Not sure how they are assigning UYs at AKV, but when we were at Dis last year, they were offering a Dec UY and they weren't close to selling out yet. We could have changed UYs, but Dec was what they were pushing. Not sure what they are offering now, but they are much closer to selling out (some say within the next few months).

They typically sell a few months behind, that way you don't have to wait a full year for more points. I got an April use year in September 1999 for BWV. They have a long way to go to sellout, I don't think they have started selling on Kidani yet (they can't close until construction is complete). I would bet on a couple years.
