I always mess this up. If I have a June use year, when can I borrow 2018 points?

When you book a trip in your 2017 use year.

It is currently September 19, 2016. You could go online today and make a reservation, 11 months out, for August 19-26, 2017 at your home resort. That trip will take place during your June 2017 use year which runs from June 1, 2017 to May 31, 2018. For any trip that takes place during your June 2017 use year, your June 2017 points are the "current" use year points for that trip, any June 2016 points wouild need to be banked before making the reservation to use them, and you can borrow points, if needed, from your June 2018 use year when you you go online (or call) to make the reservation. Point use and whether you need to bank or can borrow is determined solely by when you will be at WDW not by when you go online or call to reserve.
