Use year and Aluani

We have considered buying DVC for the last couple years. Considering buying at Grand Floridian. Looking for advice on figuring out the best use year. We typically travel in March or April. Or would possibly travel in the summer. Also, how easy is it to get summer time reservations at Aluani if it isn't your home resort?

Feb or March UY would be great since it’s best to travel near the beginning of a UY if possible so that if you do have to cancel or change a trip, you still have time to reschedule or bank your points.

I recently purchased an Aulani contract with a February UY and generally travel from February to September. A February or March contract will probably work well for your travel dates.

I'm not an expert by any means, but it looks like you can book Aulani for the summer, though your ideal room choices might not be available. It looks like June, July and the first 2 weeks of August are prime time travel months and the DVC points chart go up quite a bit. The lower point studios seem to go quickly, but there is availability in all other room categories.
