Just wondering if you can use southwest credits for the early bird check-in option? I havent called southwest yet, I thought someone here may know.
We have some credits that we will probably not use any time soon, so I though about putting them to good use, and getting some early bird check-ins with them on our current flight.
Anyone ?
Thanks,

Nope. Only new money (credit card).

edited to add the only thing you can use the credits for is to book a flight for the original passenger. You can't use the credits to buy drinks, pay for internet, overweight luggage....Southwest gives passengers who are a "no-show" full credit. SW knows a percentage of the credits will expire without being used or extended

Compare that to Disney who now charges if you don't give Disney enough notice that you won't be using an ADR.

You can use the credit for a free flight but you have to pay the EB fee OOP. Still pretty sweet to get a flight for $20 tho.
