Use magicband for purchases day before check in?

Is it possible to check in the day before using online check in in order to start using my magicband for purchases? Going to a water park tomorrow but don't check in to my Disney hotel until Friday and would like the convenience of magic band purchases while at the water park if possible. TIA

No. Ultimately it acts like the keycards did, where it linked back to your HOTEL charging account. Until you have a hotel charging account set up, which can only be fully done during your hotel stay, you cannot charge to the card.

It's a bummer, because they could have made it so much more (for those offsite, for local AP holders, etc), but they didn't.

I get restricting it to people staying in the hotel. Sucks that I won't be able to use it tomorrow night
