Use GAD pass as part of MYW Package (for dining plan)?

We are going to POP for 3 nights, but only going to the park for 1 day. DH and I are using GAD pass, and we will buy a tix for DD.

I was thinking of getting the Quick Dining plan, but it sounds like you have to purchase at least 1 day of park tickets - would we have to since we are using GAD's? Could the GAD be in lieu of purchasing a ticket, and then we could purchase the DP?

No, unfortunately unless you are a DVC or AP guest, you need to get at least a 1-day base MYW ticket in order to get a dining plan as part of your package. And you can't combine that ticket and the GAD ticket into a single ticket.

Your options are:

- Use the ticket with the package as your ticket, and use the GAD voucher for one of the other options - Fastpass Exchange Cards or Souvenir.

- Use the GAD ticket for one day, and the package ticket for another. Upgrade one or the other to extra days to complete the trip. This doesn't make much sense if you are staying more than 3 days though, as additional days are $4 or less per day after that.

- Use the GAD voucher for the ticket and upgrade that to what you need for the trip. Pocket the 1-day package ticket for a future trip and upgrade - it does not expire as long as you don't use it.

That last one gets you the most monetary savings, IF you are going to have a room-only trip in the future where you can use that 1-day ticket.
