Yup.

Here now. Site 431, but forgot any green ears. Coach pulled into 430 yesterday afternoon. No big deal, new neighbors, right? They proceeded to wash the coach. Started on the front, sure get the bugs off while they are fresh. Then they washed the whole thing. They had hooked up the sewer.

Next thing I know, they pull in the slides and they were off.

Two college age guys and a 40'ish Phaeton. A little strange.

What did I just see? Paid for a site to wash the motorhome? Didn't want to get their site all wet?

Odd.

Maybe they didn't like the neighbors.

Or maybe they DID like their neighbors. :rolleyes1

I dunno, sounds awfully fishy to me. No one in their right minds would pay that kind of dough on TOP of what it costs to have someone wash your rig.

What are the odds someone really DID go looking for an empty site because they didn't want to mess up theirs?

If you happen to have access to a golf cart, you could earn your TCD Jr. Detective's badge if you can track that rig down in another site somewhere. Just sayin' :rolleyes1

EXACTLY what I was thinking. I've seen people wash their MHs at the Fort. Not sure what the rules are or if there are any, but unless you're there for an extended period and it's warranted, I don't think you should be able to. In fact, I think I remember it being a rule/policy at some point. Can't remember...

Can't lay my hands on anything official, but I have seen a "no washing" rule in the stuff we've been given at check in.

But...

Washing YOUR rig on YOUR site is one thing.

Washing someone else's rig on a site that isn't even yours???

Now I suppose if someone actually paid for that site....

well that's a whole 'nother discussion ;)

Now I have seen a certain Fiend was their DOG in an empty site, but never have I seen a person wash a MH in an empty site and then leave.

Mighty interesting....

(It was mighty funny when the people came to back in the site and that certain fiend was still washing the dog too...:rotfl2:)

Maybe they only paid for a partial hook up and came over to your neighborhood for the quality dumping grounds!

Maybe they didn't pay at all just came in to clean their MH and dump before heading home and lived on the Geny in one of Disney parking lots
