It looks like I'm going to have more adult credits than child credits left on my plan at the end of my trip? Can I use an adult credit to buy a child meal at a table service restaurant? In the same vein, can I buy an adult entree for a child (and obviously use the adult credit)?

If you have two adults and one child listed on your key card, the rule they are supposed to follow at the restaurant is that you can pay with DDP for two adult meals and one child meal. You can't order three adult meals, even if one is for the child. Your mileage may vary depending on how much the server wants to stick with that.

It sounds like you want to order more adult meals than there are adults on your dining plan and you will not be able to do this. Your KTTW cards will list the number of adults and children in your room so if there are 2 adults and 2 children in the room, at a TS restaurant you will not be able to order more than 2 Adult meals and 2 children's meals at one time.

No, she is saying she will have more adult credits left than kids credits. (Perhaps one of the adults in her party isn't going to go to one of the meals.) Can she use an adult credit for an adult meal even though a child will eat it?

OP, For a QS, no one is going to know who it is for so I can't see why not, for a table service, I don't know. I would think you could since you are allowed to use all your credits on the very first day if you really wanted to.

I actually just want to use an adult credit to buy a child's meal for a child.

If you are not exceeding the number of adults on your plan you can order an adult entree and anyone, even a child can eat it.

It just depends on the number of adult TS credits you want deducted at one time. If there are 2 adults on your KTTW cards and you want to deduct 3 adult credits, the rules of the dining plan state that this cannot be done. If you're only ordering 2 adult meals, you'll be fine.
