USB ports at BWV

I guess that I missed this somehow on previous posts about BWV renovation. The 2 night stands in the BWV 1 bedrooms each have 2 USB charging ports. Beats having electronics cluttering the kitchen/dining/living area.

It seems extra USB ports are becoming a standard feature in the hotel industry. (Not that you should ever travel without Chargers, but it does make it much easier)

This was a great feature we used when we stayed last week at BWV in a renovated 1 BDRM. With 3 of us needing to charge our cell phones overnight, it was really appreciated!

Built in USB ports are nice. I always travel with a travel charger that has 3 USB and 2 AC outlets that can plug into one single outlet. I do think it will become standard in hotel rooms and cars in the very near future. But then I am sure we will change to something else in 5 years and they will not be useful.

I think Windows 98 was the first PC O/S to support USB... USB is approaching 20 years... (Although its mass popularity for device charging may only be 10 years)

This is great news, especially at BWV where open electrical outlets are scarce. We have a couple of power strips in our Owners Locker that we bought specifically for BWV because it's difficult to find an unused outlet there in the places you need them. Thanks for this update!

We also have a power strip in our locker, Lisa. It appears that the outlets have been replaced. The one closest to the balcony has 4 receptacles. Some of the old ones were so worn that plugs easily fell out.
