I booked my flight through United, but because Usair and United are partners you can get a Usair flight, which I did. The e-ticket information tells me to check in with Usair.
Has anyone done this before, will I have a hassle, will I be able to check in curbside with Usair.?

I've got the same type of tickets for July. Shouldn't be a hassle, I've done the same thing with the Northwest/Continental codeshare and have never had a problem.

Thank you
I am use to the e-tickets that usair gives you right away and all I have gotten from United thus far is the itinerary which I know is all I need but I get nervous. I've always dealt directly with Usair, but United was offering the flight for $45 cheaper.

Check in with the airline who's "metal" you are travelling on. If you are on one their planes they know you are coming:p

Sometimes airlines that codeshare are in 2 separate terminals so it would not make sense to go to the other terminal to check in for a flight leaving from another.

If you are actually flying on an US Air flight you may check in at any of the following US Air facilities
1. curb side checkin
2. ticket counter
3. e-ticket kiosk
4. gate agent

Thank you prncess674!
I am actually on a Usair flight, so now I know where I need to go.
United gave me their flight number but states it is a Usair flight so I went to the Usair website and got their flight numbers so I can check on the flight as it gets closer to my trip.

sometimes the confirmation numbers may be different on codeshares. Since you booked with United you probably have a United confirmation number. Call US Air and tell them the flight number and they will be able to give you the US Air confirmation number. You don't need it but it is always helpful to have. You can also verify seat assignments when you call.

Happy Travels

I called the 800 number for the usair recorded confirmation line, and my reservation is there, with my seat assignment all squared away. I do not know why I did not think of doing that.
Thank you again prncess674!
