USair fares ?

Has anyone notice if USair lowers their fare when Airtran and SW comes out with their fares for the same time period? Looking at middle of April (its not Easter time this year) and trying to do 4 people for about $1000.00. Leaving early in the evening and returning around noon.

Yes USAirways sometimes responds with lower fares. I would keep an eye on USAirways for awhile though. There are in negotiations with their pilots. If they don't lower their costs the airline will enter bankruptcy again.

I completely agree with safetymom. There is a very good chance of US Air going into bankrupty and maybe out of business this time around.
In theory I believe other airlines are supposed to then step in and honor US Air tickets. But in reality it would be a nightmare.
