I know this is a pretty old thread, but I think there are still people out there who have used the USAA car buying service and, hopefully, can answer my question. The price indicated on the USAA car buying certificate shows the price listed on the USAA car buying service plus about $80 for dealer doc fees. After that there will still be tax, licensing, and registration to pay, correct? What are the chances that we could negotiate to make the certificate price the "out the door" price? We also have a trade in and I'm a little nervous about that. This is for a used vehicle through the USAA car buying service, if that makes any difference.
