Hi all, will be heading off on Dec 16th for our one of many DL & 2nd trip to WDW. Myself, my sister, my 17yr son and my 14 , turning 15 on trip daughter.
I have had so much planning than last time, as we have the free TS dining for our 14 nights in WDW, sometimes I am not sure this is a good idea, but I am think I am looking forward to trying out some of the resturants, we only did a couple of TS meals last visit.
So this is it.
Leave Sydney Dec 16th, with Delta airlines to Lax.
Arrive LAX Dec 16th and shuttle to Camelot Inn, will drop bags , get something to eat, checkout DD , then have a early dinner and hit the sack around 6pm.
We the have 3 day hopper passes for the parks.
The only thing I am going to book is Big Thunder BBQ for lunch or dinner. I was going to book the holiday Tour, but still haven't made up my mind.
I think we will be on the go for these 3 days , pretty non stop.
Sunday 20th Dec depart LAX at 9.45am with Delta to MCO.
I think we arrive around 5.30pm.
Then we check into Caribbean Beach Resort for 14 nights.
20Dec- check in CBR, just unpack and wander the resort.
21Dec- HS for rope drop, lunch at 50s Prime Time, dinner at Sci Fi.Osborne Lights & then we might head off to MK as it is showing as open till 12am.

23DEc - MK for rope drop. My sisters birthday, so 10.50 BOG & 5.55pm Tonys Town Square Rest. I will order a birthday cake for my sister before we go. Stay till park closes!
24Dec- Dinner at 1900 Park Fare at GF at 6.15pm
25Dec- Hoope De Doo 4pm show at Wilderness Resort, then we have a sleigh ride booked for 6.30pm. Didn't want to venture to the parks this day.
26Dec- MK for rope drop. We have booked the Fireworks Party for this night. Will probably leave after the fireworks
27Dec- MK for rope drop again! Daughters 15th Birthday. Cinderella's Royal Table at 5.50pm. Will order chocolate slipper for her, & chocolate crown for son . Also going to order the glass slipper for daughter.
Will have to see if we can last to closing on this day!

2nd Jan - MK for rope drop. 6.45 dinner at BOG.
3rd Jan - check out of CBR, taxi to Cabana Bay Resort for 6 nights.

8th Jan - IOA.
Might change the park days around, have to have another look at this.
9th Jan - 7 day cruise on Disney Fantasy , Star Wars days & Western Caribbean.
Sat 16th Jan, Disney transport to BWI. I have booked this and paid for most of it, but waiting for discounts to come out, might have to change it.
We might walk over to the mini golf opposite the Swan hotel and then we have 6pm dinner reservation at Beaches n Cream.
Sun 17 Jan- DD, maybe go to outlets on Vineland for a couple of hrs, 5.30pm dinner at Rainforest CAfe at DD.

Tues19Jan-MK for rope drop. Have a 8am breakfast at Crystal Palace.
Pirates & Pals fireworks cruise booked for this night, have to be at Contemp hotel by 6pm.
We'd 20 Jan- Last day. Will checkout, leave bags, got to EPSN club for early lunch, probably be picked up by ME around 3pm, fly to LAX, have 2.5 hours layover and then the long trip home.
Been a lot of planning, just hoping I can get FP to fit in with ADRs, everything is paid , except Anaheim shuttles and Cruise shuttles.
I also have to add one more day to our park tickets, which I will do there.
Some days will be busy, but think I have added enough rest time, we will see. It can be very exhausting, but at least it's not going to be too hot.
And that's it folks.

Wow that sounds amazing!!! And great planning. Sounds full on, but you have rest times if you need it. Be sure to do a TR :)

Lol, will have to see if it all goes to plan. Last time on our last couple of days, we were like nah, can't be bothered with anymore, but we had also been to Calif and NY prior to getting to WDW.
It's hard, I had it all written out, and then when it was time to make adr's had to change some days where we would be, so that's why I have ended up with a few days , going to same park for 2 days running.
On the 26th we were going to go to Epcot & then hop over to Mk for the fireworks party, but then I got scared about doing that , in case we can't get into MK , cause of the crowds.
We have quite a few days at MK, our favourite, so Am sure we will get everything done.

I second a TR please. We are planning a trip to Disneyworld in Sep/Oct 2016 and Caribbean Beach Resort is on our list of possible accommodation options. I keep hearing if you don't book one of the preferred rooms, it is a long way from everything. We stayed at the Little Mermaid rooms at Art of Animation in 2014, which again everyone said was far away, but we thought it wasn't that bad and a nice walk at the end of the day. I'm curious to hear other people's opinions.

Your trip sounds awesome - nice work in getting those ADR.

I have read that about CBR as well, we didn't get a preferred room, but I asked to be put in Jamaica number ?, sorry cant remember what number at present lol.
I think it is going to be busy, so will see what happens.
We stayed at POP Century last time, we were in 50"s section, and it was only a couple of minutes walk up to front of hotel, where as I had read , its such a long walk! It was lovely, we could just go down the back stairs and you could sit at the lake and look over to AOA, we walked over there a few times to go to the food court there.
With all the walking you do everyday, a few extra steps isn't going to hurt lol.
We were there Sept/Oct 2013, the weather wasn't like what we were told either. It was hot, but only on a few days we felt it was very hot, the humidity wasn't bad and we did not see one thunderstorm in 2 weeks! Sept usually gets a lot I hear. It rained one night when we were at Fantastmic, typical we left the ponchos at the room, cause we carried them every day & never used them.
Then our 2nd last day, it started raining one afternoon, and never let up, so we had a relaxing day in the hotel, boy did we need that!

Hi Colin, you gave me the idea of doing the sleigh ride earlier in the year. So I decided to do hoop de doo show as well.
Think it will be a nice Christmas Day, we might get to have a chat.

Last year there were five sleighs running. Will keep a lookout for you.

We go to Trails End for dinner at 7pm

Sounds great. We thought about Trails End Rest, but wanted to do Hoop DeDoo, so thought we'd do it all on one day.
I am thinking we will have a sleep in, and leave CBR about midday, assuming it's going to take us a couple of hours to get there by Disney transport on Xmas Day.

Catch the bus to MK and then boat to Fort Wilderness. Allow plenty of time to travel from CBR to Fort Wilderness. Sometimes the boats can be full with the rush to get to Hoop DeDoo.

If the bus driver tells you there is no entry to MK and tries to prevent you boarding the bus tell them you are going to Fort Wilderness and you will be OK.

Ok thanks, that was the plan on how to get there, and will be sure to mention to bus driver if he won't let us on. Ty

Can I ask how you book the sleigh ride? I would like to do that next Xmas.

Ring WDW tours 0011-1-407-939-8687

I think you can book 180 days out

I think you were in the other sleigh. Four of you.

Yes, when I saw your photo, I showed my sister and she said I think they were in the other sleigh. Yes 4 of us, my sister, me and my 2 kids. I had my Santa hat on lol..
