US Swim Team at MK Aug. 31

Michael Phelps, Ian Crocker and Lenny Krayzelburg will be visiting the Magic Kingdom Park to kick-off a nationwide tour promoting the U.S. Swim Team on Tuesday Aug. 31.

They will be part of a special pre parade starting at 2:00 p.m.

Thanks for the info safetymom! I wish we could go down and see them all! They are really racking up the ff miles right now! I just saw an interview with Michael Phelps and he was saying how he just wanted to go home and sleep! Guess that's not happening for awhile!

I got some pictures from when they showed up at the Wilderness Lodge this afternoon to check in. It was pretty cool.
Around 4:30p I went to the lobby to make a PS for dinner and there was a big crowd with balloons in signs waiting there.

When I asked what was going on, I was told the US Olympic Men's Swim Team was coming to the hotel in a little bit to check in.


Here are a couple of pictures I got. They aren't very good unfortunately.

HOLY COW! I didn't think people at Disney were too busy paying attention to their vacation pay attention to the Olympics! I would never go to Disney during the Olympics cuz I would be in my room watching the Olympics! HAHA

It was hard to get good pictures because they wouldn't allow anyone to stand in the streets.

It was great. They handed out American flags and wanted the crowd to yell and scream. Many chanted USA, USA.

They also had confetti. The street cleaners had it cleaned up in about 10 mins.

The pictures came out really well, especially the last few! I hope all three of them can kick back and relax a little now! I wonder if any of their families came with them? Looks like a nice day down there--wish I could have been there! Thanks safetymom!!

Just talked to a friend of mine and she said that her family got to see them also. She said she got some great pictures.
