We were at US Halloween Horror Nights October 23. This was a sold out night. So I was looking forward to comparing US sold out against MK sold out (MNSSHP Oct 31).
When US sells out, they really mean they way over sold their tickets.
We were at MNSSHP mid October, in addition to last night. To me the mid month night seemed more crowded than last night.
I was expecting shoulder to shoulder people and long lines.
The only long line we stood in was before the official opening of MNSSHP and we had our pictures snapped for the photo. There was a long line outside (at Timekeeper). Had we known there was a longer que inside, we would have passed.
I timed the fotune teller line right. I stood in line during the first parade. Waiting took 15 - 20 minutes.
We started the night prior to MNSSHP at Liberty Tree Tavern. We splurged on fancy sherbet punch drinks with lit up ice cubes. Delicious. But the overall cost was really too high for that meal. I don't think I would do that again. And we even used our Disney Dining card. (20% off) It was a great experience for anyone with kids though. Esp if they have a tendency to be frightened. (Just us two adults in our party.)
The party was good. I have to say I think I appreciate it more by going to one MNSSHP, rather than two. But the fireworks are great and I love the headless horseman.
For us, everything was a walk on last night -- which is a major perk alone. And candy --- being the last night they were begging people to take it, and gave it away by the handfuls. Our treat bags were filled to the brim.
I do not know what time the Stitch pins sold out -- but they did. I heard early on. Pins were not a priority to me.
Overall a great, but tiring time.
